Wild And Crazy Guys

Tia's Tips: Don't be afraid to help stretch your stamps by creatively drawing your own backgrounds to complete a scene. Google real life images to copy or sign up for a beginner's drawing class. I recommend Sandy Allnock's art-classes.com, there are many to choose from!

It was such a blast shopping in the Artful Angel store. This image "Wild & Crazy Guys" from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps immediately caught my eye!

I'm fortunate to be married to (not only my best friend!) a very talented renaissance-man! A former Navy Hospital Corpsman, he is now an Addiction's nurse. This comes after having worked as an automotive technician for 8 years! He loves to cook/grill and make AMAZING Cheesecake! He has taught both my son and I how to golf and during the Covid lockdown completed a bathroom remodel and started our kitchen remodel!

Finding a stamp set with 3 images that could all reflect the amazing man I married made getting this set a no brainer! Of course it will continue to be a great set to use on cards for my son, brother and Father-In-Law! I'm just really happy with it!

I couldn't decide which image to ink up, so I decided to work with all three! I used the 'Wonky Window 4 Die' from Whimsey stamps. I outlined the die on my paper and then with my Misti stamp platform I was able to line up each stamp with minimal amounts being cut off. I lightly penciled in backgrounds that would compliment the activity of each guy. Sticking with the idea of picking papers first and then matching my Copics to it. I chose a blue DP and then matched several blues to use on each of the shirts for uniformity. I printed wording of my own on my PC, die cut them out and popped them up on foam tape.
