My Card Details:
For today's card challenge theme I used an older image that I've had in my stash and adore! Really, who doesn't love a parfait? Be it pudding, ice cream or yogurt-I LOVE them all!
This is one of the rare times that my background paper didn't dictate my marker selection. I did select my design paper first and knew the light pastels were lend to the "soda-shop" feel I was going for with my parfait.
I was thinking of Neapolitan ice cream, but got a bit carried away with the red Copics. The pink felt too blah with all the other bold colors and the red fit in better with the cherry.
To top the cherry, I added a lovely layer of glossy accents!
Such a fun theme this week-I went big with a slim-line card at 3.5 x 8.5 inches. And didn't worry about getting too fancy.
I wanted to add sentiment and stuck with just a quick simple-YUM, cut with a gorgeous lavender-metallic cardstock.
