Tia's Tips: There is no better way to get out of a creative rut than to create a challenge for yourself. The best way to do this is by joining an online group challenge! Recently I signed up for a card challenge and what a treat it was! In the end I enjoyed pushing myself, pushing my creativity and finding more like minded creative souls! I've made new friends and found a ton of new ideas! I ALSO joined this international team of talented designers! Where? The Paper Shelter!

The Paper Shelter Challenge #559: "MMM...My Brew"

What we're looking for is your completed card featuring any drink-coffee, hot chocolate, champagne, beer-etc.
Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize! Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand. You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.
As we get closer to "Christmas in July", I know many of you will begin making your holiday cards. In my digital collection was this hilarious image of a Gingerbread Man enjoying a soak in a mug of cocoa. And I just knew...that was MY Brew! Cocoa Jacuzzi.
I began my card with a 5.5 x 5.5 inch/ 14 x 14cm square card base. I used complimentary holiday papers with one side slightly larger than the other and bridged the seam with ribbon.
I used the Petite Looped Lace Oval die from Gina Maria Designs and cut it in half, so it appeared like a lace doily. For my focal image I fussy cut the digi and was ready to color.
After selecting my background papers, I began selecting my COPIC colors:
