Tia's Tip: You can feature images at night by utilizing "moonlight" as the light source.
It's easy to get caught up with stamped images being featured in the day time or indoors. Now is the time to switch gears a do a little dance with the moonlight.
I first saw an Instagram post by artist Sandy Allnock (sandyallnock.com/links/) featuring 7 Epic Moons for cards. I had just downloaded the Not So Scary Scarecrow from #papershelter and knew a moonlit back-frame would make a unique feature!
project:
I penciled in where the moon would be behind my focal image. There are a million ways to do this-some of you will recognize my #creativememories circle cutter. I've cut circles out and saved the negative piece to trace my moon. I do this so I can see where the moon will be in relation to my image. Go ahead and trace circle dies, circle punches, your coffee cup or free-hand it.
I'm a fan of picking out cardstock and design papers before I color. By doing this first, I can plan the design of my card and then match my markers to the papers. Some of my choices won't make the final cut and sometimes it all gets used making multiple cards.

This Black Cat stamp was given to me many years ago from a co-worker whose husband once sold red-rubber stamps! It's unmounted, I have no idea where it is from or how old it is. But I like to say-"I've never met a stamp I didn't like!" Because the moon had a cartoon face, I made it a brighter yellow than the previous image.
