Tia's Tips: As a crafter, creator and artist, it is wildly important to set goals for yourself. But it's also important to dream for yourself and where you want yourself and your art to be. Many years ago, in the height of scrapbooking/card design, I knew I wanted my work to be published. I knew I wanted to flip through one of my favorite magazines and see my work. From that dream, I set goals for myself to reach that dream. I submitted general layouts and cards, participated in challenges and contests. I'm proud to say I have been published-multiple times. Then I dreamed of being apart of a design team and thus my goals began again! Recently a crafty friend of mine has created a Facebook group and has several YouTube videos dedicated to helping those interested in design team work. I am proud to be a partner in these endeavors. Hi friends, I'm sharing with you my love for Rainbows!!! And this is the best Rainbow set ever! From the newly released Celestial Collection, this gorgeous and inspiring set is called: Rainbow Dreams.
I'm crazy for anything Rainbow! I was so excited when I first saw this set and could not wait to get my hands on it!
I wanted to a card just filled with Rainbows and that's what I did! I took a slim-line card base and added a slim-line scalloped boarder mat in Royal Blue.
With a 3x8 sized piece of Hammermill Color Copy paper I stamped both the small Rainbow and the large. I used my Misti platform stamper to line up the large Rainbow so only half appeared on each side. Then finished the look with the full Rainbow at the bottom.
I doubled up on my COPIC colors so that I used a lighter shade on top and a darker on the bottom.
I filled in the sky and added some clear Wink-of-Stella to the clouds.
