My Card Details
We are in the full swing of summer here in the Colorado Rockies. For my 'anything goes' design team card, I thought it would be fun to create another fun summer scene.
The Paper Shelter first came out with 'LifeGuard on Duty', featuring a fun beach-dude LifeGuard and then released LifeGuard on Duty 2, sitting pretty in her guard chair. So, I couldn't resist putting them together in this fun beachy scene.
I knew my card would have to be a slimline card and randomly selected space between my two characters.
I inked both the sky background and sandy beach using COPIC colorless blender to create the sand texture. I filled in the scene with beach stickers from the "I Love Summer" paper kit from Echo Park. And matted the card on pattern paper from the kit as well.
This is The Paper Shelter's Summer Break Challenge as our team will be enjoying 4 weeks off to be with our families.
