Tia's Tips: Sparkle and shine! These are both great ways to add more depth and interest to your cards. Simple to have on hand and fast to use. Pick up bottles of Glossy Accents to add that layer of shine. Then a Wink of Stella brush or any fabulous color of stickles and you've got great glittery effects in place.
You don't have to be a fan of Halloween to fall in love with the amazing Cupcake stamp sets from Prickley Pear Stamps! In fact, the Fall/Halloween set has you covered with both spooky Halloween designs and sweet plump pumpkins for Fall harvest.
There are also Birthday cupcakes, Christmas and Valentines Day! And ONE die set to match them all! Brilliant!!! Check them out in the Prickley Pear store!
I've had so much fun creating this circle cards and really like how this one turned out too!
If you've got a large circle die, use it, but you can also trace anything round to make the base for your card.
With 2 large circles, you will create a score line on one about a 1/4th of the way down from the top.
Add glue above the score line and attach to the other circle.
This creates your ability to open up the front circle just like a card!
Using the same circle die, I cut out my design paper (Ghost & Goblins stack from DCWV) and glued it down.
I selected my cupcake tops and bottoms, stamped and colored with COPICS. I "frosted" my cupcakes with light layer of Diamond-Stickles! Love that glittery affect!
The spider and sentiment came from a Cut-Up die from Riley and Company-Corner Spider Web. For the sentiment and the spider I made several die cut layers, glued them together and added a layer of shine with glossy accents.
Out of my sewing box I grabbed a length of Fusible Web-Hem tape and created a spooky bow for my spider to sit on top of.
I love how the circle card really highlights the curves of the cupcakes! I hope you'll give a circle card a try today!
