Ribbon In The Sky

Tia's Tips: When you die cut a stamp, you know often you're going to get that thin white boarder around the image. Don't just leave it there! And no, you don't have to trim it down with you scissors-I mean what's the point of die cutting if you're going to do that!?! Instead, disguise that trim into your background. If your image is on stairs, color the trim the color of the stairs. If your image is flying through the sky, color that time to match the sky or even the clouds! You'd be amazed at how quickly it disappears and how clean you image will look.

Funny Bones Sentiment: I Intimidate My Co-workers

Hello friends, welcome to the studio! I am SO excited to share some news with you! With my surgery and the "corporate job", I've just been so busy. I've also been VERY busy because I've been creating with another amazing team of talented, wise-cracking artists! What team did I join? Why, Riley (the Moose!) and Company of course!!!🥳🥸🤩

I look forward to sharing many more creations with you over the coming months. But please, go get to know this awesome owner and adorable Moose (with friends) at: https://rileyandcompanyonline.com/

I've had one of those jobs where you just want to tell your boss off with sky-writing! And that was exactly what I was thinking of when I created this hilarious Riley & Co card.

I started with an A2 sized card and adhered it with sky-themed design paper (DP). I wanted the sentiment to stand out, so rather than stamping directly onto my DP, I cut down an 8x8 sheet of DP that looked like an accounting ledger.

I stamped my sentiment and cut it into word strips. Using Vintage Photo Distress Ink, I inked the edges and edges of the ledger. I adhered the word strips in a fun pattern.

Next, Riley! I stamped Riley with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black on Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover 80lb.

By free-hand I wrote in the sentiment on the airplane banner! Then colored.

Here are the COPICS I used:

Riley: E33; E11; E30

Airplane: R35; R39; R89

Rotors: W1; W3; W5; W7

Sky: B91

Banner: Y11; Y15; YR23

I finished by fussy cutting and popping the entire image on foam tape.
