Real Unicorns

Tia's Tips: Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned veteran, it can be a struggle to coordinated background papers. This is why it is worthwhile to invest in paper kits and paper packs over individual sheets of paper. The appeal is great when stores like Michael's, JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby offer you 10 sheets for $1, but your best investment comes from picking up coordinated packs of paper. Look for discounts on paper pads, or kits from these same vendors. Home demonstrators also have a great selection of coordinating paper packs and all of these can make crafting not only fast and easy, but also better looking.

The Project:

I printed my image twice, flipping one of the images so I would have a mirrored image. Then I fussy cut out the zookeeper. To keep the card symmetrical, I cut mirror circles and placed both images on a square of black cardstock 'peeping' out of them.

I punched out the sentiment and then punched out black paper to mat it.

I used an older paper kit from #thepaperstudio, that gave me coordinating papers in my theme.

I love when I can use a couple of coordinating papers to pull together a seamless card or scrapbook page. Happy shopping-happy creating!
