Hooray

Tia's Tips: Three is the magic number. I grew up watching School House Rock on Saturday mornings, and heard it there:

Three is a magic number

Yes it is, it's a magic number

Somewhere in that ancient mystic trinity

You get three as a magic number

The past and the present and the future

Faith and hope and charity

The heart and the brain and the body

Give you three as a magic number

When creating, I find that I often turn to -three for balance and symmetry. Take a look around you, look it up! There is truth in the song-three is a magic number.

The Project:

This adorable set of cows is actually a quartet, but I knew I wanted a fun fold card where they would be front and center, and the die I had in mind had 3 windows.

This was my first time using the 'Triple Square' card die (far left) as the fold over card, rather than the swinging z-fold, I've done in the past.

Simple to use, I love these dies from The Paper Cut (no affiliation).

I printed and colored my cows & cocktails, and instead of fussy cutting them out, I used my Stampin' Up label punch. I applied foam tape behind each image and attached to the square tab. I like that there is a boarder of the base cardstock color around each cow. I selected my cardstock base color and design paper prior to starting my project so that everything would compliment one another-cocktails included!

There weren't any sentiments in the digi-set, so you can come up with anything you like! I used the sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps 'Sip Sip Hooray' and coordinating die. I plan to use the card for a birthday, and on the inside will write -It's Your Birthday!

This was a KISS kinda card and sometimes, that's just what you need!

(KISS-keep it simple & sweet!)

Thanks for checking in! Until next card!

-Tia
