Tia's Tips: You can achieve the look of glitter without using glitter by spreading your stickles! Do a little coloring underneath and top with Diamond-Stickles! Because we can all use a little 'bling' sometimes!

The Project:
I must have sensed Mother's Day coming when I started on this adorable squirrel from Di's Digis because I immediately saw BLING! I had visions of the top of that acorn encrusted in sparkly, glittery goodness! It's good to be a girl!
Now I confess, I am not a fan of glitter! Love the look, not the mess. Which is probably why I am such a fan of Stickles glitter gel from Ranger (no affiliate links here- just telling you what I like!)
I undercoated the acorn top with bright pastel blotches of colors in Yellow, Pink, Blue, Purple and Green. I applied a thin coat of Diamond Stickles so the colors came through muted and let it dry.
