THE PROJECT:
If you go back into previous blog posts, you will see the post 'A True Classic', featuring a red pickup truck that I created for my Father-In-Law's birthday. As soon as it was finished, I knew I was going to create a similar card for my Mother-In-Law! Gorgeous shades of turquoise came to mind. I didn't want just the truck alone and had just finished a card using the 'Just Chicken In' set and thought to create a little farm family!
Again, I use photo-editing program 'Pixlr'- https://pixlr.com/ Which has a free digital editing program! With it I added both the Rooster and Hen to my card. The digital set comes with one chick, so I gave her some siblings thru the power of 'duplicate' button. Utilizing the 'cut' program I was even able to edit the sentiment so my card front says "Just Chicken In", where the original digi-stamp says "Just Chicken In to see how you've been", which is a great sentiment, but didn't fit for my Mother's Day Card. I used the software to add the word 'because' to my card-inside sentiment:
This is sure to get some laughs from my Mother-In-Law! Not a card for everyone, but definitely a card I know she is going to love!

**I got added definition-especially on the hand drawn barn by using Prismacolor pencils over my Copics.**

This is terrific! The first theme for FarmQuest was to show/combine plaid or gingham and a truck....looks like you'd enjoy the themes I've got planned for upcoming months. This featured card for your mother-in-law is amazing!!!
