The Project:
I was so excited when I saw this adorable digital stamp as I had just learned from a friend that he and his wife are soon expecting their 1st baby!
I have recently found the extreme joy of using both my markers and colored pencils on kraft paper-and here's another example of how beautifully they pop on kraft!
I've had the sheer ruffle elastic ribbon for about FOREVER. And was excited to use it on this card. After running it behind my image, the card felt a little unfinished. I took another length of the ribbon and cut it lengthwise and was pleased when it gave the appearance of curtains.
I also splattered some white and sliver acrylic paint to resemble starts-next time I will save it for snow and will hand draw my stars. I then added die-cut words for the sentiment. Overall, I can't wait to send it along with a gift for a new little blessed bundle of joy!
