Tia's Tips: If you've been in a creating rut, or looking to try something new then card challenges might be what you are looking for. I know some folks create purely for the challenges and then I don't really know how much of a challenge it is then. But if you are like me-who very rarely does a card challenge, it's a great way to use your creative mind (dare I say it?) outside the box (LOL).
My Blog Hop Contribution-Sketch #14
Today's challenge was brought to me by my crafting friend My-Linh Van of Crafty Fun w/ Friends of LV Handcrafted. The challenge is hosted/created by Kendra's Card Challenges on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/kendrascardchallenges and YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/@CardsByKendra

This was both a fun and exhausting challenge! Go check out the site and learn more. There are AWESOME prizes from some AMAZING sponsors!
This was truly a challenge for me. I'm not much of a sketch or paper-piecing person. I like to design with my digi's and stamps. And of course I am a Copic colorist thru and thru. So, I was very challenged following the directions-which I didn't always get right (thank goodness for artistic expression!)
In the beginning I struggled with my cards feeling bland. I don't have a lot of accents (at least I don't think) and was grateful for those that came in the Collection Kit. What I did have was 2-folios filled with images I have colored in coloring challenges but have never made cards with. Well, they are cards now!!!
I look forward to having cards ready for: Birthdays, hello's, get wells and thinking of you. All which are the cards I typically need most.
Thank you so much for taking time to follow along with me! I invite you to scroll to the bottom of the page and subscribe to my blog!
I hope you visit again soon! Until then.....
Go Get Crafty!
